Debut release on Fone Audio
It is finally available: Kevin Arnemann's debut release! His very first production can be found on Frameworks vol. 2, the fifth release on Remy's and Patch Park's own Fone Audio. Frameworks vol. 2 consists of a four track EP, that features some brand new techno gems which will certainly please dancefloors all over the globe. Kevin Arnemann's addition, "Somewhere Out There", has the closing honours of this EP: A warm deep track with nice chord progression, wich will work perfectly in a wide range of techno sets!
With already early support from artists like Carlo Lio, Slam, Psycatron, Patrick Siech, Secret Cinema, Jim Rivers and Remy, 19 year old Kevin couldn't have wished for a better way to kick off his career as a producer. Kevin Arnemann
Ineens is hij er: Kevin Arnemann. Nog maar negentien jaar oud en nu al door de wol geverfd. Afgelopen zomer sierde hij menig buitenpodium met zijn aanstekelijke techno. En of het nu opwarmtijd of peaktime is, deze allrounder weet in iedere situatie verrassend en overtuigend uit de hoek te komen. Nederland hou je vast!
Onder de bezielende begeleiding van zijn ouders ging Kevin al op zijn veertiende naar Awakenings Festival, waar hij op slag zijn hart aan de techno verpandde. Met een sterk ontwikkeld gevoel voor muziek won hij als jongste deelnemer ooit de gerenommeerde TWSTd DJ Contest. Hij liet maar liefst honderzestig andere kandidaten achter zich, door zowel de juryprijs als de publieksprijs in de wacht te slepen. De gewonnen cursus “electronic music production” gaf hem meteen een kickstart in de studio.
Daarna viel Kevin meteen met zijn neus in de boter. Tijdens zijn festivaldebuut op Rockit Open Air maakte hij indruk met een ontwapenende performance en zijn kenmerkende big room techno. Niet veel later stond hij tijdens een intieme afterparty in DJ Café TWSTd 'back 2 back' met zijn held Adam Beyer. In de jaren die erop volgden werd hij resident bij een aantal toonaangevene podia: Club Poema in Utrecht en Sugar Factory in Amsterdam. Ook werd hij regelmatig geboekt in het hoofdstedelijke Studio 80 op avonden als Rebellion en Linke Soep.
Inmiddels is Kevin eveneens een vaste waarde op de FORMAT avonden van Juan Sanchez in AIR. En ook in de rest van het land laat hij steeds regelmatiger van zich horen. Met complimenten van Derrick May, Stacey Pullen en Adam Beyer in de pocket en support van een hoop inspirerende Nederlandse grootheden voelt hij zich gesterkt in zijn ultieme doel: de technoscene veroveren. En met zijn residentie op de maandelijkse avond Junction, een debuutrelease op stapel en een volle festival agenda voor 2012 staat niets hem meer in de weg.
